Dear Patrons,
Greetings from ‘QSARworld’!
The highlight of this month is the QSAR modeling challenge
to be thrown open on the 17th December, 08 by QSARWorld. Watch out for
the announcement in this edition and we look forward to an enthusiastic
participation this year too!
Read about the role of NGOs in drug/disease research in our ‘Editors pick of the month section’. It is really a refreshing read, we promise, with hope for affordable medical care.
Our featured article
of the month talks about on an aspect most QSAR users will have some
opinion on – on what is expected of a QSAR software / tool,
in the context of drug discovery. In lucid language, the article looks
at QSAR applications in different stages of drug discovery processes
and highlights where we are now and where we need to go from
here. What makes the article more interesting is that it is
written by a team of marketing people and trust them to give vent to
the bouquets and brickbats that they have received from the market,
during their selling experience!
Do not forget to check out the literature section where many relevant articles on QSAR, including those on 3D QSAR, are highlighted.
Happy reading and do write in with your comments and contributions.
Warm regards,
’QSARworld’ Editorial Team
